In this work, Dr. Caliendo offers his rationale on what he believes can actually occur from the perspective of one’s state of consciousness and Quantum Physics during the phenomenon of healing, through the Grace of God, when intentional love is employed. He believes this phenomenon can be manifested regardless of whether someone is being treated by a professional of the healing arts with their God-given talents, or just being prayed over with or without the laying-on of hands. In fact, Dr. Caliendo further explains why he believes it is also possible for healing to be attained from a distance through a phenomenon in Quantum Physics known as "entanglement."
In an attempt to open up the mind of the reader to this hypothesis on healing, Dr. Caliendo discusses that there are many cases on record of patients experiencing unexplained, "spontaneous remission" from supposedly incurable diseases. He states that, with the exception of congenital abnormalities, “there is no such thing as incurable disease, only incurable people,” a favorite quote from the compassionate oncologist and author, Dr. Bernie Siegel. He also presents medical facts, case histories from his 45 years as a wellness practitioner, testimonials, analogies, parables, and fables in order to build within the reader a confidence and understanding of the wonderful ability of the body to heal.
Furthermore, Dr. Caliendo points out that it is an accepted fact that this will be the first generation expected to have a shorter life span than their parents, and he gives his rationale as to why this is happening. He explains how taking responsibility for one's life through choosing a healthier lifestyle can significantly reduce the chance of being part of that statistic. Finally, Dr. Caliendo offers resources and methods on how the reader can optimize wellness, increase their quality and quantity of life, thus making their journey through life a healthier, and consequently, much happier one.

The initial intent for creating this work was to leave a legacy for my friends and family. The fact that this is supposed to be the first generation that is expected to have a shorter life span than their parents disturbed me. Therefore, I decided to create a treasure trove of resources and information from my life experiences where health is concerned. I hoped that, if applied, it could possibly help them avoid being a part of that statistic. In addition, I wanted them to realize why anything less than a loving thought could be harmful to their health, and why they should always strive to be the first to love. However, considering the times we live in now, I truly believe this book is "just what the doctor ordered" for its contemporary social significance. It's concepts can be applied to anyone seeking to live a more peaceful, happier, and consequently, healthier life, reminding us, that like the song says "All You Need Is Love". Blessings!
Dr. Sebastian Caliendo received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He received his Bachelor of Elective Sciences as well as his Masters degree in Biology and Nutrition from Bridgeport University. He received his Acupuncture degree from The New Center. He also is a diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition, as well as a Diplomate of The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Caliendo was in clinical practice for forty-five years. Believing in the basic tenets of holism (treating the whole person and teaching one how to take responsibility of the own health), he founded Naturalife Wholistic Health Services in the late 70's, which was one of the first Wellness Centers on the east coast of the United States. Although he is now retired, hi passion for sharing the concepts of holism are still very strong, as evidenced by making himself available for lectures and writing this book on the topic.
Someone who has the compassion to serve,
Rather than the drive to survive.
Faith in his science, philosophy, and art,
Willing is he to give from the heart.
Some who's caring and truly concerned,
Not merely into how much that is earned.
Someone who radiates within and above,
Striving for oneness with God who is Love.
Someone who practices whatever he preaches,
Thus giving strength to whoever he teaches.
Someone creative and truly with vision,
Striving, achieving, his lifetime ambition;
Eager to serve his sisters and brothers,
Knowing that joy comes from doing for others.
Someone who truly master his art,
Graciously speaking – straight from the heart;
Someone whose intent is simple and pure,
Knowing that it is not he that can cure.
A true healer shares many skills from his store,
Growing and learning to heal more and more.

Life's choices define just who you are,
Like taking a trip while driving a car.
Some wrong turns might be made along the way,
Though always corrected by the end of the day.
For as long as you persevere focused on your goal,
Making wrong turns will take no great toll.
For it makes no difference how you arrive,
As long as you get there safe and alive.
The same can be said where your health is concerned,
When you apply these concepts you've just learned.
Sure there will be times you fall "short of the mark",
But easily made right like a "walk in the park".
Yes, realize my friend that poor choices don't last,
Just develop the mantra "this too shall pass".
For as long as you succeed more than you fail,
You will surely experience life's holy grail.
Having a wonderous and healthy life's journey you see.
By having the audacity to be all you can be.
So make the right choice, for you know what to do,
Take the road not taken, travelled by so few.
